Maple + Walnut + Everything you ever wanted in a fall side

If you don’t already make acorn squash on the regular this time of year, this is THE perfect and most delicious way to start. Simple enough to make with Tuesday dinner but impressive enough for a weekend date night, too. We're RAW +, we got you covered over here. This fall side piece combines just a few ingredients but brings big flavor so we can always, always, always #bringthesugar ; )

You’re Def Gonna Need These:

2 acorn squash, halved and seeds removed

2 T butter

3 T maple syrup

2 tsp MORTAR + KUSH Refined Hemp Sugar

¼ c walnuts, chopped and toasted

You’re Gonna Want to Do This:

The squash halves go on a baking sheet, cut side up

Divide butter, maple syrup, + Refined Hemp Sugar between each squash half

Bake at 400 degrees F for 45-50 minutes, basting butter/syrup/sugar occasionally

Add walnuts fresh out the oven

Dig in and thank us later!
