Do you also lose your mind in July when fresh blueberry picking is in full effect? We absolutely do, too. And, if you're out of ideas on how to use the 100 lbs of berries ya had to pick, we have just the thing! Enter stage left, Hemp Sugar Berries. YUM.
It's super simple, super tasty and you can put them on cupcakes for the fourth of July. What's not to like?
Here's how ya do the thing:
Rinse and dry your berries.
Whip up an egg white until frothy/foamy and definitely not stringy [gross].
Toss your berries in the egg white foam to coat, lightly pat with a paper towel to remove excess egg white. Goopy is not good. Got it?
Turn oven on warm then turn it off immediately after and pop those berries in to "dry" on a cookie sheet lined with parchment.
Enjoy your berries as a snack, compliment to your yogurt or share with people you love. They're all good options.
