Hey Muffin, you're the crumb de la crumb!


GF Apple Crumb Top Muffin Like...


Get out those baking mitts, friendsies! We’re sweetening things up with these gluten-free muffins filled with fall flavor + topped with RAW Hemp Sugar crumble [OH MY]. Your choice as to when ya chow down. Breakfast appetizer? Afternoon shnack? Late night munchies? All good choices, we support them all. Enjoy 1 or 3 at a time, we are NOT here to judge. Muffin, you're the crumb de la crumb.



Need to Have:

1 ½ c. applesauce

⅓ c. unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

½ c. sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 pinch salt

1 ½ c. GF AP flour

¼ tsp xanthan gum [omit if your flour already has ya covered]

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp GF baking powder

1 T ground cinnamon [again, Vietnamese Cinnamon is the move]


CRUMB TOPPING

¼  c. brown sugar

1 T sugar

1 T MORTAR + KUSH Raw Hemp Sugar

½ tsp ground cinnamon

⅓ c. GF AP flour

2 T  melted butter


WAIT. Anyone else get excited by the phrase "crumb topping"?? We digress.


Need to Do:

Mix together applesauce, melted butter, and eggs until fully combined

Stir in sugar, salt, vanilla

Stir in GF flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and xanthan gum

Mix until it looks like you know it should [you know...muffin batter] and ingredients are fully combined

Scoop batter into prepared tin [your call, we like liners cuz they cute but we're also partial to the RAW look of a nakey muffin, too.]


CRUMB TOPPING

Stir and combine all dry ingredients

Pour in melted butter

Stir until thick crumbles form

Sprinkle that delicious crumbly topping where it goes [
