Merry Berry Bliss Bars

Admittedly, these seem a bit labor-some. They're not. They're f l a v o r-some. ; )

Don't get us wrong, we love the typical Holiday cookies made + shared this time of year.

And there's something nostalgic about it all.

But it's 2020.

It's time to level up and #bringthesugar.




BLONDIE LAYER:

3/4 c salted butter, cubed

1 1/4 c + 2 T packed brown sugar

2 T MORTAR + KUSH Raw Hemp Sugar

2 lg eggs

3/4 tsp vanilla

2 1/4 c AP flour

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/8 tsp cinnamon

1/2 c dried cranberries

6 oz white baking chocolate, roughly chopped


ICING:

8 oz room temp cream cheese

1 c powdered sugar

6 oz white baking chocolate, melted

1/2 c dried cranberries, roughly chopped



TIME TO ASSEMBLE

Preheat oven 350 F

Spray 9x13" baking dish


Blondie Layer

Melt butter, stir in brown sugar + hemp sugar

Add to large mixing bowl + let cool to room temp

Beat in eggs + vanilla

In separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon

Slowly add dry mixture to butter mixture

Stir in cranberries + chopped chocolate

Spread that thick batter into pan

Bake 19-21 mins until just set

Cool completely on wire rack


Icing

Use electric mixer to beat cream cheese + powdered sugar

Add half of the melted chocolate + beat until combined

Top blondies with icing

Sprinkle with chopped cranberries

Drizzle with remaining white chocolate

Cut into squares or triangles

Store in fridge until ready to serve
