Spiced Apple Lat-TEA

The temps on the East Coast keep droppin' like your hints about your holiday wish list. And that means one thing for us. We're finding any excuse to sip on a warm fall bev. As much as we loooove adding a spoonful of Hemp Sugar to our morning coffee, we love it in this latte (lat-TEA. Get it?) recipe as well.

Snuggle up on the couch.

Grab your favorite mug and a blanket.

1 1/4 c whole milk

1/4 c cream

1 medium apple, cored + chopped

1 T black tea

1 tsp MORTAR + KUSH Refined Hemp Sugar

1/8 - 1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 pinch cloves

1 pinch nutmeg


All ingredients go into a pot on the stove. Heat to 175 F.

Remove from heat. Cover. Steep 15 mins.

Strain to separate solids + liquid, pressing the apples to get all their juice.

Reheat briefly + froth.

Sprinkle with cinnamon.
