It doesn't get more fall than this. This is a recipe many of us find nostalgic and carries us all through November with the feels! It's been revised with the addition of MORTAR + KUSH Raw Hemp Sugar but it still tastes like home. We promise ; )

The good stuff 5 medium sized yams

8 tbsp salted butter [ maybe a little more if you're feeling

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

1/4 tsp ground clove

1/4 tsp ground ginger

3/4 cup granulated sugar

3 TSP MORTAR + KUSH Raw Hemp Sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 tbsp pure vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 350 F.

Wash ya yams

Peel and slice the things so they're all relatively the same thickness

Place the yams into a 9x13 bake dish that you got from your mom

Place the butter into a medium sized pot and then melt it over medium heat [mmm]

Once the butter is melted, #bringthesugar and place all of the sugars, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground ginger and ground clove into the pot

Stir off-heat and then add the vanilla

SIDEBAR- were you ever a kid and thought, "hmm I'll try vanilla extract" ...HA.

Pour the sweet mixture over your yams...errr, we mean slather. Slather your yams. Cover with foil + bake for 30

Remove + slather [again]

Cover + bake for another 15 ish

Enjoy so hard once slightly cooled

Some people put marshmallows. Do your thing and always #bringthesugar @mortarandkush
